Yes I am, the new plan is...
Darton Sleeves
3.7 liter
Arias Extreme duty
Pauter Rod
ARP hardware
Cosworth HG
ETC.
I am waiting for a release too of camshafts for the Rev-up motor.
I am finishing school up here, but Fall and winter is when i plan on sending it to Sharif.
But first thing is first, getting a UTEC and setting a baseline up. I am still new to this engine building thing but i am trying to talk to all the right people to find out all that i can before i get invested into the project.
Like need a ATS twin carbon disc clutch, and ATS LSD, switch my 3.9 back out in favor of a AT 3.3 and make the car more streetable.

$450.00 bucks to make your 60-1 into a t66, basically the wheel is 300 and 150 for machine work. BUT like I stated before has to be close to knew and all the bearings should be good.
I hope they don't chose the Unichip for the ems...would rather them go with the UTEC, that would be nice. Does anybody know what size injectors it will come with or will there be an option to choose what size? I hope this kit isn't too pricy.
It's not the Unichip that you are thinking of. It is the newer version that lets the end user change the maps, bluetooth access, etc.

you need; built motor, big tires, lots of $$, and a smile a mile long.
Ive heard of the specs of the new unichip, Its nice but i like the avalability of tuners for TXS products, I am going to order the UTEC, i am 95% sure... But depending on TN's final decision, i dont know... if they go AEM or Hydra Nemesis or Autronic, Id **** and kick myself for not waiting.

^I feel the same way. There just aren't as many tuners for the Unichip like there is for the UTEC. That would be nice if they go with the AEM, but if not I'll probably be getting the UTEC also.
You do understand that ANYONE can tune the unichip, right? The software is easy to get (it might even come with it), and it definitely has more exposure than the z utec. The whole aps "authorized tuner" has nothing to do with the Unichip itself, it is part of the aps marketing plan and warranty.
So yes, if it does come with a newer Unichip, then tuning will be as convenient, if not more so, than the utec. (I only say this because the z utec is a brand new product)
You also would not be confined to so-called "authorized dealers".

thats good to hear. the only thing is my personal experiance with the product. I personally have street tuned numerous times on the TXS unit for WRXs and STIs. I like the simplicity of the controls and how everything flows. This presents a possibility of tuning slightly before i build and turbo, but i may become a fense sitter on this one and wait and see.
