I NEED A T66 ANYBODY WANNA TRADE FOR 60-1 lol. what I might end up doing is just having the wheel switched out of my 60 and have the 60 beefed up to a t66 thats what Turbonetics told me to do, its gonna cost me 250 but well worth it!

How much more can that gain by swapping in a T66 wheel? If it can do alot better, than 250 bucks is a great deal...

it will be the same as a t66, and it will fit in the same place, basically they take apart the housing and replace the parts with t66 parts. ONLY if the turbo is brand new...

I think the currect WG is sufficient for the 60-1 but like supra owners will tell you big single = boost creep you need a big WG... Id go with HKS 4 bolt 60mm and HKS racing BOV.

I think and don't quote me as I haven't talked to the Design Engineer yet but I think the compressor housing needs to be machined a bit larger to accept the T66 wheel and make it efficient. As for the wastegate its good to roughly 500 HP but yes the Stage II will most liekly come with a Newgen wastegate which is 50 MM and will easily flow as much as you want. Its controlling a 1400 HP Single turbo Supra running a Y2K T88 right now. As well as several other cars.

It has to be brand new because they dont want to replace all the parts, once oil is run through the trubo than it will be very risky just puting in the needed parts.

I understand you impatience but if Turbonetics is not building you the T66 turbo I would be very sketchy. Turbonetics balances the compressor wheel, turbine wheel, shaft assembly, and then the entire spinning finished turbo assembly to ensure there is no vibration whatsoever. I would hate to see you get something from another shop that is not up to their spec and then when it breaks you are down for longer.

MIA your puppy is so cute!

Whats been up in the car world dude, ive been outta sync being gone outta town last week. Stage II is set to be released Spring? Correct?

I think this will be a killer setup... I now have a clear goal... Build a 120+ trapping car that can be "street" driven! Big Single seems to be the way to go.
