I'll say this about the conversation I had yesterday with Ted: I did sort of get the used car salesman vibe. BUT, I have no problem handling people like that. What I care about, is the quality of work that a shop puts out, and so far I have heard nothing bad about Scott Performance's quality. I don't think anyone can tune a Unichip better than Ted; Bri's and Marin's cars can attest to that.

Bottom line is the car's tune was off and the car was pinging...I don't think Rob messed with a thing....But the power was down signifigantly due to the tune being off and the the car pinging....Rob didn't due any thing it the customers fault for running 100octane in the car for a couple of months on an 91octane map..then the comp added timing because of the incresed octane and then running 91octane...the car was pinging and running like ****..Anywasy Ted is a salesman...But he gets **** done and does a lot of custom **** that nobody else is doing...Rob is a cool *** guy also and is more laid back and not so much about the sale and also knows his ****..I just met Rob at HIN..anyways they both make fast cars but have different styles..I'm tired of this Ted vs.Rob ****...bottom line Marins car is running 22lbs of boost and hangs with cars that run high 9's and its rich as hell...I don't car what kind of fuel system or injectors it's using or the dyno #'s look at how the car performs..I'm not talking about this **** anymore...I'm cool with both guys..

The Dyno chart also had a different date on it, a date the owners car wasnt even there. This isnt the first car that has pulled lower #'s on Rob's Dyno, theres been a few. Rob installed cams and headers on a G then tuned the car not to long ago. The owner wasnt happy with his # so he went to Ted. His dyno was 20hp higher. That Dyno is known to give high #'s. The best thing about what Rob does is tell you from the start. Go drive the car and tell me what you think. He then shows you the #. Thats why I like him, no BS! I really wish I had some of that mojo that Ted has. Ive never seen a guy get called out sooo many times on chit and people just keep spending money with him.
Back on topic congrats on your #'s Im sure its a beast!!! Even if thats not the REAL # Im sure its pretty close and I bet that thing is a hand full to drive!!!
The G in question was me, I have nothing to hide, I took my car to Rob and had the parts put in but Rob himself said that the dyno was not completely set up and when he showed me the graph you could see how sqiggly it got up top. I never said I was unhappy at all I just wanted it to be fully tuned and took it to Ted, that is when I found out that it was pinging in the upper rpms, I do not understand when people make a big story out of such a simple thing.

I have nothing against either, just happy we have 2 tuners in N.Cal.

I never dynoed @ 380whp. It was 400 whp before going back to get my car looked at. I am now boosting 13 psi on 100 octane tune. I am enjoying my car and it feels fast to me!
If there is another Dyno Days I will compare my car to others with those "all important numbers". Scott Performance upgraded my actuators and retuned my car free of charge for all my troubles. I was very appreciative to Rob for his comparison dyno and let him know.

Wow.... I have raced 2-3 people with over 700 rwhp..... I know where my car stands in hp and performance.... I dont post to tell people Im lying.... This is the truth..... Ted is the only one in the US that has an APS 350z boosting 22 psi and thats MINE..... My entire setup is custom.. I even have 3.5 inch downpipes w 3 inch dual exhaust.... I havent seen ANYONE boost past 15 psi !!!!! but SP has done it...... I guess we are lying about that too.....

Anyone wanna Race??????
