Update
Guys - I got held up waiting for the ARP 7/16" L19 studs then John got tired of waiting so he decided to go with 1/2" ARP's since the motor's apart. Now why neither he nor I thought of this before now I'll never know!! Brain fart, perhaps! I believe that John's gonna start assembling the motor after the Memorial Day holiday but if he doesn't, I'm gonna fly to Dallas & get him to push me around the block so I can remember how well my G handles!!

On an off note as far as the L19 studs are concerened I was concecerned that the material may be too much for the stock block. As the L19 Material is normally used for Pro Comp cars with no were near factory components. My concern was that the studs would pull out or the block as a result of being too stong.
Scott @SVRT reafirmed my suspision that the 7/16 studs would infact rip out of the block at just about 110lbft of tq. He Also added that he has never had a failure as a result of using the 1/2 studs and maintains that he has been unable to make them fail as a result of over torquing them
