Default Temps, Intake, Oil etc

Guys just trying to gather some info or guidelines on what are good temps for different items.

I currently have the HKS SC and was doing some testing with my thermocouple in my intake tube close to the throttle body and this was my results.

Outside temp about 75 F

Cruising at 60mph give me about 89 F
Twisties with high 2nd and 3rd revving about 150 F
Still need to do further testing

Basically I'm going to start modding a little more and want to cover the simple issues first like, Do I need a bigger IC, Water Spray, Oil Cooler, Larger Oil sump etc. (Injectors and plenum are already sorted)

Any input on temps for intake, oil and anything else you believe is relevant please let me know

Michael

after getting my APS ST installed, i was running around with water temps around 200, oil temps a little lower - all while on the street.

had the car out at VIR a few weeks ago, and anyone thinking of going FI and running their car on a road course needs more cooling. oil temps got up to about 230 before i backed out of it. they clearly would have continued to climb. since there is an oil / coolant heat exchanger, eventually they will normalize to each other. water temps were climbing as well, but slower than oil.

on the street or doing one 1/4 mile pass at a time, stock is probably fine. extended boost operation will definately overwhelm the OEM cooling capacity.

The reason I was asking is that I want to start taking the car on the track etc and want to cover all bases before then
