Comparison of Turbo Kits
I havent seen any thread that goes over this, but correct me if i'm wrong.
Just trying to get some info about Turbo'ing the 350Z.
1. What are the available Turbo / Twin Turbo Kits out there.
2. What sort of power are people getting out of these systems ? (As claimed ?)
I know about the APS (lil exxy), Turbonetics and GReddy Kits, but I want to get an idea of power vs money, spool time etc.
Maybe as well as factoring ease of install.
Anyone care to shed some light ?
Thanks,
Mick.

I know a bit about them already.
I more so want to know about peoples experiences with them.
whether the kit gave them the power that was claimed, or wanted, and if there were any hassles with installation, pricing etc.

It seems people with Turbo's 350s dont want to answer this...
I've done searching, but still not satisfied with my findings.
So if anyone wants to leave their 2 cents or not thats fine either way.

There are 100's of thread about most TT kits.
Information is here, and you have to search... I do understand there is a lot of crap to go through in order to find the threads that have the info you want. But nature of the forum beast.
Agreed with Gman2004, there are so many threads.

Do a search man, dont be lazy, and dont take people telling you to search in a bad way. We have all gone through what you are asking and we all made decisions based on our needs/goals, the information is out there. So search. take your time reading and learn some in the process, good luck.

Yep. overZealous1 is doing it now. The reason most people won't answer is because in the journey to find these answers you will gain a better understanding of the whole scope of FI'ing a VQ35. Long and short of it. Best pure plug and play - APS with the Unichip. Best for big power - SFR's twin 60-1 hifi's(although a Greddy kit will a little machining can have twin 60-1). Best Single - There isn't a definitive answer. Most unsafe out of the box - I say a tie between the Procharger and Greddy(on stock boost). Both don't address timing. Although Procharger might now.

Would also say Tnetics ST is best bang for buck. IMO, once they start using an ems instead of ecu flash it would be a much better kit. APS kits probably the most complete, very good #'s on stock G/Z, make sure your near a unichip tuner. Greddys very good as well, just needs couple more parts to make it safe, a great tuner kit for built motors. I really like the JWT kits, but only offered to couple shops installed only, so once kit is actually offered to public, will see more feedback regarding reliability and #s from different dyno shops. SFR great kits, but its custom built, so it should be installed by SFR or SFR/SSR dealers, also a great tuner kit. Vortech IMO best SC kit bang for buck. Great #'s and very reliable. Stillen SC, most reliable FI kit out, but #'s are only low 300's, and pricey. ATI very good #'s for SC kit, but requires couple parts to make it safe. HKS probably similar to Stillens.

PS: You can e-mail (aalzuhair@aol.com) or PM the information if you don't want to post it.
honestly...every kit has a positive side making it slightly different from others. honestly, i feel that the reason most dont make a comment on all the kits is because they chose a kit that they researched and found to be just what they were looking for... which is what you will have to do. simply search each kit... read their claims to faim...look at the photos of their kits... see if you like the set up and finally look at the price and make sure the piggy-bank likes it too....
....probly the only way your gonna get the answers you want! any other answer will be opinionated towards what that person likes and possibly not what you may be looking for. another way to see is to attend car shows...look at these kits in person...take a ride in a few buddies cars if u have that option and feel the drive... watch the timing...all that good stuff...
ok the horse has been beat'n...
