Default Max whp on pump gas! Dyno thread!

What is the max whp you have achieved on pump gas 93 or 91 octane ?

Post your dynos here so everybody can track the latest on the max whp on pump gas struggle!

In each case please define the kind of gas (octane) used.

i'm very curious about this as well. while i'm absolutely not pushing it, i'll start. i made 414whp uncorrected on 93. i never scanned my sheet though. anyways, somebody with a high pump gas # tell us what you made, your compressions ratio, ect.

i'm stock engine by the way, greddy tt.

Sorry, but I don't see how this is possible without running extremely lean, drastically advancing timing, or upping the compression (all of which would pop your stock motor). Either that, or the dyno was way too forgiving. Do you have any dyno sheets to back that up?

On my last car I ran a Greddy at 14.2 PSI and got 505 rwhp, built enginge on 91 octane. It ran very well, didn't have time to REALLY try it out though.

My current car, at 8.5 PSI is running 412 rwhp on 91 octane. Also a built motoe, this is with the JWT TT.

DynoJet: 502whp (uncorrected) @ 10 PSI on 93 octane with a mildly aggressive tune - better rich then blown...
Running on a stock block & Greddy TT.

Personally I think you should be able to get over 625+ rwhp on 93 octane with a built engine running 15 PSI.

It is very rich, and the tune is midly aggressive. I have misplaced my a/f graphs, but here you go:

450 hp 480 tq on 92 octane map
peak boost at 14 psi where peak TQ is made tapering to 11 psi at redline.
Built lower end with 8.8:1 CR; stock heads and cams. Running the out of box APS TT kit with upgraded actuators.

GRD's Dynopack dyno - SAE correction

That's strange. I'm making up to 50whp more steadily from 2000-5000rpms and I only gain about 10whp from 5000-5800 before tapering off. Your graph shows you still building 50whp between 5000-6000 rpms. Of course, my dyno sheet was on a rough 97 octane mix so I won't post it here. It also was on a reflash so I'm not sure the gain was that drastic over straight 93 octane.

Still, interesting difference. Your car seems to gain wph slower than mine, but yours peaks higher, relatively. I'm still not sure how you could achieve this on less than 7psi on a tune that's already rich, but oh well...

Nice. With a curve like that I'm guessing traction is fun.

Nice now that's a sick number.... I think 550-600whp on 93 is kinda of pushing the envelope....

Pump Gas HP is the true test!

I'm @ 418 whp @ 6.8psi 93 octane nothin to brag about, at least for now.

This thread can be very misleading to newbs. I think you guys should post what kind of dyno, and correction factors were used to obtain your numbers. We all know dyno type alone can be 30whp difference easy...not fair to just state #'s and not dyno/correction. With that being said:

Turbonetics "street" tune, 9psi, 93 octane--> 396whp 400ft/lbs SAE/Dynojet-5th gear pull.
