smoking bad w/tn kit out of exhaust
only drove for 300 miles stopped at stop light and white smoked poored out my exhaust. When i got home and put in my garage let idle for about 5 min and started pooring out smoke again.Took out plugs and they where fine. And it doesn't smell like antifreeze.
You just might have an oil leak in your turbo. Blown seal or something.. This is due to improper oil drainage hose setup. Search for white smoke. JETPILOT just had the same issue I believe and he got his turbo replaced.

But you could have something going on, like JET did.
no, it couldn't have been the weather. (55 degrees today) I was driving for at least 45 minutes-1 hr. When I brought it home and put it in my garage, closed the overhead door, smoke filled up the whole garage. Sometimes it will go away, but when it starts smoking it is very heavy.

If you are billowing white smoke you are blowing oil past the turbo seal. Please verify your oil drain location is above the oil level in the pan and that its run correctly... If all that is correct call Reggie tomorrow and he can overnight you a new turbo.
Did compression test (ok).Checked oil return line and even took it off everything fine.Yes i did install the kit like 4 months ago never got to drive it do to winter. Took out 2 months ago for test drive and was over boosting 12.5 pounds so i had to wait for overboost pipe.Installed overboost pipe and still was getting 10.5 so i called turbonetics and they sent me 2 wastegate springs.Calling them up today they have been really good so far with those other problems. Sucks though can't even enjoy my car.Smoking bad.

I think AAM cleared this prodecure with someone at TN, and its doesnt seem to be a problem with the Greddy kits either. Is oil return fitting location critical, or did I miss something?
