If you plan on geting RC 550, and have after market fuel rails, like AAM make sure you get there full length style, NOT the Nissan 350z or Infinity G35. To avoid the machined and pressing the tops back on these injectors.

Got the new set of x6 550cc full size today. Went in just fine with spacers on the AAM rails. No leaks, no stuck units, Thanks to RC they were very fair to me! I sure the hell will never use a RC Nissan type 550 injector!!! (smaller version)

I come from the DSM turbo world, FIC injectors are very popular there, but I didn't see any listed on thier website, is it hidden somewhere?

Found this thread just wondering how did you determine that the injector was stuck open? I just installed 550's on my car and right when it got on the dyno it starting having problems. My car smokes right when I start it now. Did you pull all your injectors and just look at them? Secondly Kevin, How can I determine if these are the short or long ones you refer to? I got these used so not sure. I also didnt get the spacer so made my own with washers...... Let me know your thoughts
Thanks
Roger
Thanks
