Default Emanage Ultimate Help

Ok I wired the EU with the autosport harness using all the correct connections, I must have triple check my triple check. I set up in the software vq35de and I export the data I have the lastest firmware 1.14 but no start. Anyone encounter a no start with there install. I am sure it is something so simple. I didn't have a propble with the blue emanage but this one got me tickeled.

So the car just keeps trying to crank but no start?

What does the LED on the EU show?

i would go through and check all your parameter settings. are you doing some sort of injector signal cut now? a double check on the jumpers inside might be a good idea too. good luck

I had the same problems when I down loaded 1.09. It wouldnt start at all. Throught kind help of forum members I got it running but I ended up paying for shiping.

Try starting a basic format and at install an older firm ware that you know worked, then add what items you needed to get it to where you were then update the firm ware. Take good notes so you can kinda know where it went wrong.

well I did double check all the jumpers, I set them to the factory settings visa-vi the emanage manual(picture). I tried all the firmwares. It sees the rpm signal, I can smell fuel while cranking, no start. I could resort to plan b and gernade it. It is odd I never had aproblem with the blue emanage so something is funky.

Also had this problem:

Ended up being the ground to the injectors came unplugged [should be a brown wire? - just look at schematics?]

Also, a shop in Cali had told me that two of the plug-ins did not match up with the wires for some reason and would need to be switched around [something about how the colors and diagrams were opposite].

If you come to a dead end, still, then PM me and I will get you the number to the shop and let you or your talk to them!

Good luck... the EU is a *****, but works fine once setup!

Had a similar issue that turned out to be a blown fuse.

beastie, not a blown fuse car fires right up when I take the emanage out of the loop, god i love that autosport harness. The brown wire to best of my knowledge is a rpm signal, but by using the crank signal no need to use that wire?

ok check it all over, chatted with the emanage guru Sharif a bit and We think the EU might be faulty. I unpluged the timing harness and jumped the wires and the car fires right up. So not sure what Sharif said about the coil resistors in the EU being faulty, but I am ups'ing out to him tomorrow to double check it for me. What a Pain in the ****. Guys thanks for the help I will repost and tell you what the fix was.
