APS is a great kit, but it is not the best for everyone.
It's not as easily upgradeable as some of the other TT kits.Anyway blowing the motor up has very little to do with the kit and 99% to do with the install and tune. It just so happens that the APS is more idiot proof than all the other kits.

I will agree with you that the tune is a key to some extent, but the other stock kits (again, this guy is not talkng modified kits here) do NOT have nearly as good a fuel and other systems as APS and are not as safe regardless of tune. For instance, VRT is touting 400 wheel horse power with 350Zs with stock engine internals and with JWT TTs and does not even upgrade the stock 350Z fuel injectors in the standard kit. And it has no fuel return system. Now our stock injectors are somewhere in the range of 333 cc. That does not add up - almost 500 engine hp on mid 300cc injectors - and is not as safe as the APS TT kit with 500 cc injectors and a fuel return system. JWT sells the kit like that to pass emissions and carb and lets the buyer assume the risk for running a much lesser fuel system than APS. Yes I know they run increased fuel pressure but that is still nowhere as good as the APS set up. Without a fuel return you will have times when you run lean with the JwT kit set up that way and you will not have consistent fuel availability and cooler fuel like with APS.
And the Greddy kit is downright dangerous UNLESS you do upgrade it with addtional parts. Some people do not like to mix and match a lot of different manufactures. If there is a problem each will always point the finger at the maker of the other parts. Now you disagree and that is your right on this aspect. But I have a right to my opinion on this aspect as well..
