Default 12psi daily driven?

I am going to be running 12psi on my vortech kit along w/:

Nismo cams
Greddy Emanage(blue)
Power Enterprise 510cc injectors
ATP Boost actuated 3" cuttout
Aftermarket Headers
Coolingmist water/alcohol injection
Zeitronix WBO2
ARP rod bolts

Now i am going to be getting my car back this week and i am now worried about running that much boost on a stock block. I have researched alot and it seems that alot of motor failures have been a result of tunning errors. So the question is will this be a relatively reliable setup with a conservative tune and the correct amount of timming pulled.

Also what kind of #'s can be expected from this setup? Around 420whp?

come on guys i have searched through many threads. I have seen many threads that talk about blowing motors, but rarely do they state what the cause was. I know a vq30 can take 12psi easy, but it seems most of the guys on here get nervous when going over 11psi

Going with the W/M sprayer will help alot . I would think about getting a return fuel system to supply them 510's

12psi is a lot for a stock block. The Vortech comes on in the high rpm so you might be ok. Still might want to make sure you have enough money for a build when the time comes.

i would not push it over 9psi on stock block unless u have the rev up engine. I would just save up another 3g for a built shortblock and boost the hell out of it.

There are several people pushing the 2.87 pulley on the stock block. I believe TIMROD is hitting almost 13psi, stock block and vortech fuel system for many many miles. The WM Injection will help a lot, since you can run more boost without the danger.

Out of curiosity, why did you get rod bolts?

I wouldn't be too worried about it, since its a supercharger kit the power won't come on suddenly and you won't hit peak power until redline. Most engine failures are due to too much boost/power in the torque peak of the engine (mid range) which causes mainly turbo cars to fail. 420rwhp on a stock block with a supercharger? I say no problem.

P.S. This is assuming you have an adequate EMS and tuner

I'm running the 2.87 pulley on the stock block. I hit 10.8psi and thanks to Sam and George @ GTM, my G35 runs flawlessly.

no,

It was a 2000 maxima which came originally equiped w/ a vq30. I swapped in a vq35 using the the timming components from the vq30. In order to do this you had to use cam re-position adaptors in order to use the Vq35 cams (nismo cams in my case). After multiple attempts to get the cam timming right and using several set of adapters i gave up and swapped in the vq30 cams. Then when we hooked up the blower it started making noises (not sure if it was a bearing issue or not). After all the headaches i finally sold the car w/ just the vq35 in it and bought a new Z. Been happy ever since

BTW a guy followed up behind me and completed the same exact setup a few months later and made like 430whp. Needless to say i was pissed my setup didn't work out.

Man i already pm'd you a long time ago explaining that i could not find the tires and asked for a address to send you a check to refund you the 30 dollars for shipping cost. The sale was for the wheels and tires that were mounted. I was basically GIVING you tires becuase i had no need for them and asked that you just paid for the shipping. PM me with a respones.
