Raptor BOV Question
My question is about the sound my BOV is making. Under spirited acceleration I hear a ssssshhhhhhh sound then when I let off the accelerator I hear a louder PSSSSHHHHHH sound. Is that normal? I thought you shouldn't hear any sound from the BOV until you let off the gas then it releases the excess gas. I have the adjustment screw all the way in so it should be holding the boost, right??

if you have it adjusted all the way in, you need to unscrew it a bit! You could cause some major compressor surge with the setting that tight.

I guess if it was leaking the needle would drop under acceleration. If you guys are hearing the same thing then I guess it is normal.

Just looked at my BOV and noticed that the outer port (closes to logo and drivers quarter panel) is routed to my upper plenum. OK I pretty sure that is correct. BUT there is another port right next to it (closest to engine) that is empty. I looked in the port and there is a small hole. Should that hole be plugged or is it suppose to be like that???
