Exclamation AAM fuel return system and injectors, installation

What do reputable shops normally charge? How long does it take to install? I have a great idea what the tune will cost, but I am curious how much money I need to set aside to get it installed, thanks in advance.
Craig

People that have already had the kit installed with injectors, chime in with what it cost for you, PM me if you don't want everyone to know what you paid.

Craig,

We recommend a reputable shop charge between 6 to 8hrs. on average for the AAM Fuel System & injector installation depending on your vehicles setup.

Hope this helps,

This may be a dumb question, but would it take this long on a new built LB that is being installed into the car or would you consider that part of the install price of the long block since either way either the stock fuel system or an upgraded one would have to be installed once the new engine went into the car? I still have the AAM fuel system from when Sharif did the group back way back when. It's still in the box and has been waiting for the new engine before install. Thanks.

No clue on local shops, but only two places I would trust for price and install... Would be Sharif@Forged with Eric & Co. From Carolina Performance Racing (Charlotte NC), or the folks who designed and make the kit... Altered Altmoshpere in MD

Including with tuning. If I couldn't go to Sharif@Forged, AAM would be my next best bet.

The mechanics at CP Racing charge $300-$350 which is about 4-4.5 hours
If the engine is removed, it doesnt make the install any easier, so you probably wont get much in the way of a discount. The lines still have to be run, fuel tank upgrades, FPR install, routing etc...and that doesnt much easier with the engine removed.
