Default Short vids of 10 psi and 16 psi runs

I finally got around to making some short videos. Please excuse the quality as I was filming and driving. I am going to the local hang out tomorrow so I 'll try to make better vids while someone else films so I can concentrate on driving.

This vid is of a hwy run from 4th gear at 10 psi.

I have another one of a 16psi run, but it is currently uploading.
Here are some pictures of my new defi meter bf series gauges. My peak boost spikes to 18psi and then comes down to 16psi. My water temp stays between 170 and 200 degrees during runs.

on a dyno pack with the EU I made 519whp. I don't know what the new numbers @10psi with the FCON are. I made 513whp and 480tq on a dyno dynamics @16 SAE corrected with no dyno jet correction factor. I am going to hit a dynojet soon, but I need to rolls my fendors before I do. When the car gets strapped down the tire rub bad.

the other vid is working now.

Just watched the 16psi one....very nice! I need to get some vids up. I'm having problems with running WAAAY too rich. 11.8:1 to 12.3:1 at idle, and smells like an open drum of gas.

No track times. Honestly I've been trying to fix all the little things since I got the car back......running rich with EU, new gauges. I didn't have a water temp gauge and I wasn't trusting the OEM. I use to have the defi d gauge and I tried to get the water temp, but they are discontinued and I bought all new gauges. I feel more at ease with the meter bf gauges because of the alarms. I like them. They're sick!

The only thing left to fix is the idle. It's rough sometimes especially when I come to a stop after a hard run and sometimes with the a/c on. SGP told me I might have to notch the TB. I am currently looking to buy some drag wheels and tires and then off to the track.

Wow... 16psi looks crazy. Have you ever considered changing to 3.3fd gears? I'm thinking shifting so often would get on my nerves.

actually I am hoping that fairlady z33 swaps with me. He was interested in the 3.5's. It would work perfect for us since we live in the same city. Come Umberto! What's up with the swap meng?

It's freaking nuts. Did you notice how I didn't even punch it until after 5500 rpms in 3rd gear? It gets really loud when I punch it because of the dump tubes.

Also notice how I don't have a CEL light. I am so frickin happy. I've had a CEL light for 2 fuking years until today.

sweet vids! ya i had my idle weirding also. 5-6 months i drilled a 1/8" hole in the throttle plate and my idle went to 900rpm and is smooth as silk now, never died once since i did it.

Cool. I'll get that done. All the little things are so annoying! I am so close to finally being done. Well almost......need fendors rolled, front bumper repainted, and car wet sanded to get all the swirl marks off.

Honestly, I don't even know why people waste the time changing to the 3.3 rear end. It's such a small difference, and you'll still be shifting all the time. If there was a 2.9-3.0ish gear available it would be much better and worth the trouble for these high hp cars. Just my opinion though....

Back on the subject....bada$$ 16psi vid

Depending on your trap speeds, and your redline, you can probably avoid the 5th gear shift at the drag strip, if you use a 3.3 gear.
