Lightbulb ST and True Dual Exhaust

I was about to purchase the Turbonetics Kit, and saw a thread stating something about you only have one pipe coming off the single turbo, (duh) so in other words I would be wasting my new HKS Dual Hi-power Ti, or is there a good way to make the combo work together ?

Thanks T

I believe most people get a reverse Y pipe fabricated.

Custom single. You want the straightest exiting exhaust. A single 3 inch midpipe to a single 3 inch single can exhaust is ur best bet for a perfect ST setup. You can always get a reverse Y pipe manufactured.

I am actually wondering the same thing, since I have the HKS ti and will possiblybe getting the TN kit in the near future...
Any negative comments about the performance, flow, or sound?

Wut u could do is get an axleback style exhaust, and then get a custom midpipe made. If ur lookin for a quiet yet saucy sounding exhaust, fujitsubo is right 4 u

I don't think that would work, as the design of true dual exhausts will vary depending on brand.

Anyway, there should be some kind of ST FAQ that explains this. I get this question in my PM inbox on a weekly basis.

Bingo, how do you make a reverse y pipe that fits EVERY true dual exhaust out there. Simple answer you can't. A reverse y pipe but no means inhibits performance and is not THAT expensive to have done. I believe Z PHAT Z has one and gained as much as 20 WHP in the low end by using that and his Borla TD

^^ Yup Yup! I got it done for $150 plus installation. It's a very easy job for any exhaust shops to do. But make sure you got your fixed pipe for overboost with aftermarket exhaust
