Try contacting the manufacturer or the company that sold it to you.

Is this a Defi-Link gauge? If so, the troubleshooting section states that low values may indicate a bad ground. Try this http://www.defi-shop.com/product/ima...ual05022-h.pdf on pg. 106.

Curious to see what the fix is.

I gotta dig this up from the grave! The Defi D temp gauge.... this can be used for both water temp and oil tempo correct? Just wanting to make sure as I am going to install a water temp and oil temp gauge in my nav cubby and want to make sure the Defi D is suitable to water and oil!

I don't see any reason why it can't work for both. I use mine as an oil temp gauge, reading off a bung I added to the OEM oil pan. The gauge is only marked for temp. Not specific as to water or oil.

bigbri, how did you fix your problem?

Thanks Enthu. Thats what I was thinking. I was thinking temp was temp regardless of what it was taking the temp of. Just wanted to make sure before I buy 2 temp gauges ay $130 a piece!
