Mia can confirm, but it is my understanding that qualified tuners will have access to the software necessary to tune the Q Unichip, without a large upfront cost.

Mia?

That would be nice. I was gonna PM you, but d@mn, I feel I've asked you questions on every kit out there. Didn't want to keep hassling you.

anything other than stock or injen ses.

I'm running nismo and it seems to work extremely well.........but going with something more free flowing will provide more power.

Stage 1.5:
If you are upgrading from Stage 1
Unichip Q (new version of the Unichip. Tuning software runs XP/2000 OS unlike older one that uses Win95/Dos) which includes:
-Multi map function with a multi map switch
-Closed loop boost control also connected to multi map switch
-Flux Power Display which allows bluetooth access to the Unichip and 6 channel datalogging for 30 minutes via the bluetooth link to your PDA or laptop. Also allows you to switch maps via Bluetooth link OR upload entire new maps via Bluetooth. No more hunting for connectors in the dark
-100% plug and play system pre-tuned out of box for 9-10 PSI. Power output TBD but will be over 400 WHP

Fuel Return Setup (not APS style more so AAM style)
630 cc injectors
Optional water/meth injection kit that is controlled by the Unichip Q in a user definable map

If you are purchasing Stage 1.5 as a complete kit it includes the following:

Turbonetics 60-1/Stage V ceramic Ball Bearing turbo
Turbonetics Evolution wastegate
Turbonetics Raptor BOV
Spearco Front Mount Intercooler
630cc injectors
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
Fuel Return system
Unichip Q with flux power display and closed loop boost control and multimap switch. Plug and play and pre-tuned.
SS304 Exhaust piping polished and mandrel bent
Black Chrome Powder Coated Aluminum intake piping
All v band exhaust clamps
All t bolt intake clamps
Case of Turbonetics TS-1 synth oil
12k mile / 12 month no fault no hassle warranty on the entire kit.
-Optional water/meth kit

Stage II: (preliminary info)
Turbonetics T66/Stage V ceramic ball bearing turbo
Turbonetics Newgen Wastegate
Turbonetics Raptor BOV (X2 or could change to something else)
750cc injectors
Fuel return system
Walbro 255 lph Fuel pump
Unichip Q with flux display, closed loop boost control, multi map, etc
Spearco Water/Meth Injection kit
Spearco Front Mount Intercooler
SS304 Exhaust piping polished and mandrel bent
Black Chrome Powder Coated Aluminum intake piping
All v band exhaust clamps
All t bolt intake clamps
Case of Turbonetics TS-1 synth oil
12k mile / 12 month no fault no hassle warranty on the entire kit.

Last but not least Turbonetics/Spearco is currently working in conjunction with a prominent Z tuner on this board to release a tailored version of their water/meth injection kit. The kit will come two ways. One is obviously as a
included kit with Stage 1.5 or Stage 2. The other is as a standalone unit with its own stand alone controller. The kit is currently available as a universal kit but I told Turbonetics there was some benefit to making a tailor made kit for the Z and G. Its currently being done by a Z expert on this board and when its complete will be the only custom made water/meth stand alone kit for the Z/G.

ETAs:

Stage 1: Currently shipping
Stage 1.5: Final Stages of R&D. Release Date is TBD (most likely in a month or two)
Stage 2: Early summer
Standalone water/meth kit (universal): Currently shipping
Z/G specific water/meth standalone kit: TBD but looks like end of the month.

Which one are you going to be running? Stage 3: T76 ?

One remaining issue that I see in the idea of "pre-tuned" programs for the stages is that how will it able to compensate for variant in built engines with different cylinder head setup?

The only thing that I dont like about the unichip is its limitation to the end user. The end users have to rely on a unichip certified tuner to get his/her cars tune.

Happy modding guys!
