Title says it all. I have a buddy who we just put the Vortech kit and UTEC in for and we need a basemap to get the car going. Anyone have anything?

Why would you say that? The utec is one of the most comprehensive engine management systems on the market. Tunning is expected until there is a map for every possible combination of fuel injectors, systems,turbos,exhaustst,ect..

 

Well does that mean that everyone who has this same install has just had their cars towed to the tuner before even driving them?

 

No, but the maps do differ alot..I have one for a procharger with 440 cc injectors and an APS return system.But the fuel pressure will be different, but it should get you running.
