are you still running the stock rear axles? I'm running 12.38 @ 116.5mph but my 2.1 60ft isn't cutting it. Just too scared to run DR's or slicks on the stock axles. Would love to see 11's

I'm still on the stock axles right now, but I have level 2's on their way to me in the mail. The stock axles are just fine for sticky tires as long as you don't shock the $hit out of the drivetrain by sidestepping the clutch. I do a quick slip/dump launch and have had no issues. Although back when I was N/A, I broke an axle dumping the $hit out of the clutch on slicks.

Get some DRs and find out what full traction in first gear feels like

hey man, i wouldnt worry about the stock axles, i am launchin at 6000 with slicks pullin 1.63s on a 150 shot right out of the hole

talk about a lot of torque

i dynoed 170 ft pds of tq on 100 shot

get some slicks or MT ET streets and lay down some good times

your trap looks good at 116

Don't forget to mention that you're on the stock clutch, so your obviously going to get a little slip on a hard launch which takes the shock away from the axles. Upgrade your clutch and launch like that and I'm willing to bet you'll break an axle. I have to be very careful not to shock the drivetrain when I'm sitting on some heated up slicks. That's why I just use the DRs at the track for now. If I launch too hard on them...they spin just enough to not let me break $hit.

yeah well thats why i run high pressure and spin and then let out a half a pound of air, then run again, spin, then let out a half a pound of air, till i dead hook

im sure it is slipping a bit but right now its perfect!!

i am ordering my SPEC clutch and my tilton FW probably this week. dont worry i will still be launching at 6000....

if it breaks, replace it with better stuff!!!

i cant wait to pull high 1.5s im not too far right now...

plus i think when i dump the clutch i ride it for about a 1/16 th of a second just to absorb the shock. i have been racing cars for a while...
