YES, this troll has come in here and ruined another informational page! BLAH.
As for him, Tim Allen, Harold Yeagie, A few others on the rs boards... Drive their Saleen S7 TTs daily! Probably as much as some of us drive the Z. One has had it since 2003 with 65K miles and his only complaint is the 9.7 MPG and the tires he is constantly going through!
If you are going to argue points at least do some research so you at least sound like and educated jacka$$.
ANYWAY BACK TO THE TN THREAD.

Hello all,
First time poster here, mainly doing research for my friends Z.
To Dr. G or anyone who reads and listens to his posts. Turbos by nature are vastly more effcient. they use "waste" from a basic design to increase power instead of robbing HP to make power. Turbos were very lacking in my opinion until they real started to use intercoolers, which lowered the IAT to a reasonable level.
Also in recent years the reliability of turbo systems has advanced ten fold. SC's used to more reliable purely based off a more basic design system, but that has changed with BB and the like.
And one poster is correct, manufacturers (all of them) are more concerned with profits than performance. If you look at the pure elite high performance vehicles, they are all running turbos for one simple reason. more efficent use of power, which is huge when trying to lower your 0-60 times from 3.8 to 3.7. Not so much a concern with a SUV soccer mom who wants a little extra kick out of her Range Rover. The only manufacturer that comes to mind that has made good use of SC is Ford on the 99-up Cobra. But Ford has always been interested in SC.
A turbo is not a bolt on thing that you can forget about. It takes a good owner to run a forced induction setup of any kind. From what I have read on these boards, it seems many just want to bolt it on and make 400HP and hear the Whoosh sound. Good luck with that.
On a total side note......
BoostedZ33TT, I also live in Addison and would love to hook up and talk Z's sometime. My friend just purchased a 05 and is looking into modding it. Unfortunately most of my experience lies in domestic rides. My favorite being a highly modded GMC Syclone, the first true turbo production ride.
His plans are basic mods, rims/tires, exhaust, turbo, etc. This is his first dabble into street modding so baby steps are needed.
