1) is going to start a pissing match between SuperCharger and TurboCharger Owners... then when you decide on either.. you will start a pissing match between the individual Kits..

verdict: its best to find a good tuner in your area first and find out what they can tune before you decide on what type or brand of Force Induction.

2) depends on how much HP you want to run? if you are looking for more than 460 .. then you are better off looking at upgrading to a small block or long block from various shops and sponsors here...

3) all the N/A cams seem fine with FI

4) basically you have to search and do research...

you will have to read .. read .. read... at least spend a full 2 weeks reading the FI forum.. searching.. and reading... pm'ing members in your area with questions and concerns.. and search search search..

just posting general questions is going to get people pissed off at you and basically get you sarcastic responses that will not help you..

If you post questions based on research.. people will appreciate your question more...

Hi Lewis, please use the search function, its there for a reason.
as to your questions..
1-People have different thoughts on blowers there isnt a "best" pick, research your options and pick wisely.
2-In any FI application you will need low compression pistons, most people go with 8.5:1 although others go with 9:1.
3-Uprated NA cams are designed to help with NA power delivery, don't quote me on this but FI cams are quite different.
4-Try the vendors on this forum, they are all helpful and most stock everything.

This isn't necessarily true. Many people like myself are running the JWT S1 cams(close cousing to the Nismos) and they were made for NA but work very well with FI. IMHO you shouldn't do cams unless you are building the motor because it is cost prohibitive. To the original poster, do your research and draw your own conclusion or get in contact with a knowledgable distributor for many product lines like Sharif from Forged Internals.

I really want to stress the fact of a good tuner in your area... It makes no sense getting the FI Kit you want and then no tuners in your area, so you have to pay alot of money get it tuned or run blind naked with your ***** in a blender..

1) find the tuner in your area for what FI Products
2) find the cheapest distributor for the FI Products you found the tuner for
3) narrow down your choices based on the list you derived from 1 and 2

Read all the threads on the first 10 pages of the forced induction forum.

Then if you still have questions, use the search button.

If you still have questions after that, then ask away.

Anyone who's serious about going F/I would not and should not simply take the advice of people who post in this type of thread.
