Take a razor blade or exacto knife and start working your way around, going between the pan and block. It takes a while, but the last thing you want to do is pry it off with a screwdriver and damage the block mating surface and end up with leaks later on.

naw im ok i like my block. im seriously considering the torch do you guys know if that liquid gasket thing will melt of even get britle when heated?
get a thick metal scraper. dude, if you used a screwdriver you could have seriously messed up the mounting surface for the pan (it's aluminum, remember?) You should DEFINITELY have been more careful....
hammer the thick metal scraper into it, then just angle the scraper and hammer it so it works it's way around.

supra crazy,
I very thin gasket scaper (Sears Craftsman), and a hammer will work perfect. Just work your way around, starting at and edge, and it will eventually pop off.
