I spoke to a Vortech rep at SEMA in PA a few weeks back. I'd mentioned I was interested in finding out about the 06 kit and its expected release date. He said 3-4 months until release. That was roughly a month ago. I'm on the other coast, so my stock 06 will be of no help, but I am curious to find out if you're still on track for a late summer release and if you could give us a guess on the pricing.

It will cost you $1000 to ship your car. Shipping plus what vortech is charging will still be less than buying a new kit and then paying for the install by probably $3000. Chit you could even rent a car for a month while your car is being worked on and still save $2000.

the pop charger will come off when they install the vortech. Tax is about $140 so $2,140.

Hmmm, I'm considering this. I have a popcharger, test pipes, and UTEC but those are easily removed. I wonder if I can be without my car for 3-4 weeks.

I don't usually like other people working on my car. Maybe if it was free. I've been thinking of becoming a Vortech vendor as well.
