- Speed Map - This unique feature allows the SBC i-D to control boost according to the speed of the vehicle (Power Meter i-D required). Speed Map boost control can be set up from a 2 stage to a 4 stage control, which allows the user to set boost according to his driving style. Speed in transfer by infrared between the Power Meter i-D and SBC i-D.

The Power Meter i-D is a unique monitoring tool that measures and displays horsepower and speed. The Power Meteor i-D is one of the only units in the world that can display both standard and metric measurements. Power output can be display in HP, PS and kW. Speed can be displayed in MPH and km/h. Both power and speed can be displayed in digital and graphical form. The Power Meter id also has a Chassis Dynamo function, which plots Horsepower to Speed in a graph form. Available in both black and silver color.
Power Meter i-D also has the ability time the following
0-50mph (0-100km/h), 0-100mph (0-200km/h), 0-200mph (0-300mph)
0-1/8mile (0-2--m), 0-1/4 mile (0-400m), 0-5/8 mile (0-1km)
The Power Mseter i-D also has the ability to record and data log up to 5 different times.
Features Compact 1/2 din size
Chassis dynamometer (up to 1183hp)
Reads speed in mph or km/h (up to 249 mph or 399kph)
User adjustable brightness and contrast
Easy to read illumi-drive (i-D) white lighting
Easy 3 wire hook up (attaches to stock speed sensor)
Compatible with naturally aspirated and turbo charged vehicles
Reads speed in mph or km/h (up to 249 mph or 399kph)

had issues with the profec E-01, switched to the blitz...holds boost perfectly, much smoother..very pleased..
not sure if this has been asked in this thread (too lazy to read it all)
anyone get the unit that works with the SBC-ID that allows you to set boost per gear based off a speed and rpm signal?

Gain =increase in boost responce under throttle. (bottom to top)
Limmit = decrease boost after warning.(top to bottom)

I found with a boost leak, which gave the control unit lower boost readings; that 30 gain and and 30% boost you get 15psi. Yeah HOLY CRAP!!! Good thing I datalogged and the defi I was able to get it back down.
Gonna replace all the rubber lines with cilicone because the rubber lines are cracking and releasing boost under pressure. While I'm at it gonna change all my plastic vac fittings with brass.

What I like about the unit is the four preprogram settings. For the street I set it around .7 bar, (around wastegate springs level) which is good for pump gas at California 91 octane. Then I have it set at .8, .9 and 1.0, with the higher levels fueled with 100 octane and blends in between, for the track.

Still not getting very consistent results. I'm not sure if my settings are off or if I confused some pressure lines.
I'm running it in manual "set" value is 17 gain is 20. The Blitz unit says that I'm peaking at 8.2 pounds of boost but my Autometer Nexus boost gauge says I'm only peaking at slightly over 7.
I'm not sure if either of the units is inaccurate or if the discrepancy has to do with the different sampling rates. Might have to get it on a dyno and datalog to get a handle on what's really going on.

I am thinking of putting this unit on my Z as well. Adjusting the boost with a manual boost controller is not accurate and a pain in the azz. I don't really like electronics though and if something were to go wrong with the programming on the boost controller, that could mean a blown engine. On one hand, I look at it as an easy solution to changing between boost levels, but on the other hand, I look at it as another thing that could break and possibly ruin my motor. I drive my car very hard in high heat conditions and I the last thing I need is my boost controller to fail.
Eagle1 likes his, and roneski is having programming issues so I am still in the same place I was at first. If only there was an accurate way to set the boost with the manual controller instead of just guessing what you turn it too and then relying on the boost gauge.

I'm sure that once I confirm I am actually hooked to the correct pressure lines I can get the settings to fall into place. I haven't had any engine threatening problems with the unit. And the unit has a pretty cool safety feature (which may actually be the source of my problems now that I think about it). I think that it just needs a little tweaking.
