It wouldn't hurt to have someone like Aaron on board for the first few times. We will talk to him about it during the Vegas event.
I will give him a call tonight and discuss.

The streaming video is a bit much for my Commercial 384/384 DSL link.
But I had the Help Desk operator at my hospital connect and he said "no buffering problems"
I really liked the passing video's - When you consider you had a passenger filming. That must have given the other driver's "Food for Thought"..
Your new "Stream Video" within the website works well..

P.S. I think I know what you mean, my Grandson Alex is 19 - He rides a bike to work at Disneyland - He like's fast car's - but I'm not inclined to cut him loose in a Z
He is a schetch artist, and will probable be the next Steven S. His style is Japanese Mangajin. Pretty good for a white boy. Ha !

Thanks Philthy.
Wow,
Great Idea....
We have links to Speedventures.com from our website. Check our calendar. We always talk about the events. We don't have any problems with suggesting people to go and see the times.
What is your point? I already said the Evo was faster than my G at Spring Mountain, our Video shows the pass at Willow Springs which is a different track and unless you pay for transponders, you don't get published times.
Thanks for the information. Tell Nils with the White Evo great job, would have been nice to run with him at CalSpeedway. They have yet to post the Calspeedway results at this point, yet I know I don't remember the White Evo this past weekend.

What day was it at Willow? My Point? You asked a question, and I provided you with the answer...

Couldn't tell you. We visit Willow Springs at least 6-8 times a year with SERCA, Open Track, Russell, Redline, POC, and Speed ventures.
Repeat, unless we are using rented transponders, we have no times. Most of the time we use our own transponders. We hope the White Evo is at Las Vegas in a few weeks. If it is there, we will congratulate him on his very fast car, great driving, and look forward to competing with him.

mra - Also remember that Spring Mountain is Nils's home track and he is there every time I go and probably more. You had never driven that configuration prior to this event and this was before you had your camber arms, which made a huge difference. Also, I am not trying to make excuses for mra, but the 3.5 mile configuration of SMMR is definately in favor of AWD cars and isn't really a horsepower track at all, thus making it an un-fair comparison as it would be with any track since they are two different cars. There are some good straights, but with 20 something turns they don't matter as much anymore lol. I would say that even if mra's car was dialed in at 100% at its best best Nils would still be ahead since he has a better car for that track and he has a lot more experience on it. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that these cars have a ton more potential than their drivers can un-cover when you look at the range of times between all of the VRT cars.
The only real way to tell which car is faster is to have the same driver that is familiar with both the cars run them on the same day and at a wide variety of tracks. Whichever one wins the most is obviously the faster car.

I'm the slow poke, but don't blame the car, blame the rookie driver.
That ZO6 ran 3 minutes flat? Damn that's fast.

I can't believe how fast Terry is.....that Z06 is awesome. I would agree with MB, same driver is really the only way and even at that like he said SMMR is much more friendly to a local and an AWD.
BOTTOM LINE.....all these cars we are talking about are FAST!!!
I still like mine the best...lol!!!!

Navygolf:
Your times were steadily improving over the day at CS, and you were getting a lot more smooth, which is very important. And hands down it was the prettiest car there.
Yes ,Terry is fast in that Z06. He was several seconds faster than the fast Evo at Spring Mountain a few weeks ago, if that is any indication. His car is powerful, has that very slick modified Penske suspension, and more than anything Terry is a terrific driver. He can take any car and go like blazes, but that car is just outstanding.
Hopefully that fire under his oil pan did not cause any serious damage last weekend.

And Congrats Again Ed with the Sports Compact Article...
We can all learn from all fast drivers at the track....I learn everyday and in three weeks after Las Vegas I am going to AlbQ/NM for a drift event to sharpen my skills before my Lemans Drift Beast is finished...
GOOD NEWS
Aaron at Speedventures has a few days this year we can plan an ALL OUT Z and G Assault on the track. We need to pick either Big Willow or Calspeedway infield?
Let's discuss and then start putting the word out on the boards to get a head count for Big Willow or CalSpeedway. What sounds better, Willow or Calspeedway...Both weekend dates are possible. Believe Willow is in July and Cal in October..
