i've got some interesting news. Today i installed an oil cooler, new plugs and connected the grounding wire of the utec to the firewall.

When i started the car after everything was installed there was no cel !

I guess the problem might be a grounding problem with utec or something about the oil lines in the block. While installing Dartons the machine shop had made a mistake and cracked some of my oil lines so we had to use copper lines to replace the cracked lines. So i guess this might have effected the pressure on the cam sensor selenoids and dropping the oil pressure by adding the oil cooler might have had the opposite effect on the situation. I know this doesnt sound so logical but it's an idea.

Yea it definately is an oil pressure issue of some sort. Like i said earlier if I keep the rpm above 900 rpm i do not get the code, and by reving it up more im sure there is more pressure. Also I noticed when i shut the car down with the p0011 code only showing up as a pending code( doesnt actually turn cel on but does recognize the error) and start the car back up after it has cooled down when there is more oil pressure that the light wont come on just stays as a pending code. So maybe it is the type of oil we are using or the amount of oil we are putting in the motor , who knows ??? Please update if the light stays off !

i've used three different types of oil but the problem consiststed with all. About the amount of the oil, yes you might be right about it.

Today morning, i started the car and the cel was there grinning at me as always..

Have you reflashed your UTEC main or dbw processor recently?

Where were the switches pointing when you did?

No, just used 3 different utecs, all of which the light stayed on , and had a list of other problems with. Do you think the dbw reflash may solve this problem ?

Sorry mate I was asking Mistaboosta.

I was asking because the manual had incorrect information about the switches used to select the different processors for flashing, resulting the wrong data being flashed to the wrong processor. Depending on which data file you flashed to which processor the car behaved differently but after one of them the car idled bad, threw codes etc. If you plug in your laptop and try to connect to the UTEC through hyperterminal after the incorrect flash has taken place then you should non standard information displayed.

The UTEC did not come like this so I dont think it matches your problems.

A stupid question before i atempt it...
Will Standard injektors fit on the RC upgraded injektorconnectors?
I will probobly change my management system from eManage to Utec soon also. Im a little afraid that the old eManage will blow my coils, and parts are extreemly expencive here in sweden.

thx for all help!
Hopefully il be on the road braking it in soon!

Here is some update,

I had already posted another topic about my car sputtering at high rpms (actually after 6000 rpm). It looked like a ignition thing. Yesterday I was on the highway with a friend. He was checking my maps etc. Suddenly while the car was rolling down on the road @ neutral gear, it died. I tried to start it again but it wouldn't. First thing i thought was the engine going bad but there were no smoke or oil on the road behind. So I pulled on the emergency line and tried to start the car a few times. At last the car started and suprisingly the CEL was gone. We started driving again and this time i tried to rev the car to 7200 @ wot. It was reving nicely until 7200 and this only happened after the CEL was gone. I also installed a ATS clutch yesterday and made sure that the new flywheel is installed correctly to eliminate another possibility.

bcarter:
I have contiuned my search for errors in the installation and checked my sparkplugs and injektors for errors plus i have redone the emanage installation for the 3rd time now no errors there.
I have a Shilded CAS Cable from CJ motorsports im going to install this weekend, just to be on the safe side.
And i fixed a air leak at the lowerplenum.
I have installed a groundning kit mostly becouse it looks good
Il continue to search this weekend and i hope i can find what cousing my problems!
Im proboly going to buy a Utek soon it seems to be a more complete solution then emanage plus i can tear out all those extra cables..
