I have stock axles...and the 1.70 60' was on stock camber arms with 1.5 degrees negative camber per side. It should hook even better now that I have the camber zero'd out, but I haven't been back to the track.

I ended up parting the car out, after going through 3 gearboxes, 1 ring/pinion, and a set of axles. The car cut a 1.55 60ft on 34.5x9" slicks, but never got a full pass, because of traction issues, and broken driveline parts.I'm actually building/restoring another S13 (89 Coupe) as we speak.. It will recieve a 4 liter (stroked) VQ, with cams/nitrous and all of the bolt on goodies. I'll have to post some pics as it progresses. Right now, it's stripped down to the bare chassis, being prepped for paint.
Anyway.. nice ride man..

I ask because I remember reading a magazine road test of an insanely high horsepower car where they couldn't launch with first gear at all, but launching in 2nd worked really well. It might be something to try since 1st just spins the wheels when you're on the gas.
