Best turbo kit out of Greddy/JWT/ and TN?

I was going to go the greddy route with utec etc. But when I was approached and told that it was a plug and play kit with the JWT and the price was right, I considered it. I will take this input to my tuner and get his feed back. Thanks
Hopefully they are long time friends and your tuner is somebody that is among the very few that has the requisites to be selected by JWT. If so, I suspect Florida will soon have a line down the block outside his shop!
Yes this is true. He does have along lasting relationship with JWT as he has been working for years with the Z32's. Thats exactley why they offered me a good deal so that they could have the first kit done and on the street so that they can get the line around the block started. I only wanted to nail this down because I want to pull the trigger. In fact we are taking off my stillen unit to replace it with the JWT kit. The shop wants me to do some demonstrations with my car once the kit is installed etc. So yes there will be a line around the block. I do appreciate the feedsback eagle1. The offer I am being made is almost to good to refuse.

Indeed it is a dream offer. Check out the comparison of turbo kits and look at where the power bands compare, going up the range from 2000 to 5000 rpms. With a good tune on stock internals, it is very nice. If you build the motor, it gets outrageous.

I agree, I always thought that the JWT would be a great kit, but being that there was nobody doing installs within driving distance, After all my research i was going to go with greddy. But after this I am ready to go but this whole lack of tunning on the has raised some issues for me.
Do like you stated and "plug" is in. Get it to a dyno right away and make sure that your A/F ratio is dead on and that everything else is legit and safe. Maybe you can do with a good data logger if you have one hooked up for wideband.
Just keep in mind that there are a number of things that can be done by a manufacturer so that the "kit" is "plug and play". They can have low boost levels such as the Greddy kit came with out of the box, pull lots of timing (to much timing pulled can generate heat which is not good either) or run the car rich. Obviosly there is a give and take in each situation generally being power. This does not mean that JWT does these things, but I would bet that he has to too some extent in order to make sure that those in Wisconsin run good from the cooler climate but those in Florida arn't popping engines from the increase in heat. There is so many variables that the only way for him to offer the kit the way he wants to is going to be by being conseravtive. I would dare say that is why APS has fewer blown motors because they require an APS authorized dealer which generally means there is some tuning involved.
