Default Put A Connecting Rod Through My BLock

I snapped a connecting rod when I hit the rev limiter. I don't know why that happened since the rev limiter was set as stock. So.... now I'm off for a built shortblock. Any suggestions? My power goal with the forged motor will be 475 rwhp. Can the TN turbo plus larger injectors and a tune make that power?

Anyone selling shortblocks that will meet my needs?

Respect
JET

But he needs a new block too. Just try Todd as suggested previously. He probably has one in stock ready to go.

Sorry about the failure. It will be tough to get 475 you will probably fall a little short probably more around 450

Sorry to hear about the motor. Todd is great contact, with great knowledge as well.

Did you hit the rev limiter often?

Well if you see a rod go through the heads take a picture that would be one heck of a failure.

how many miles were on the engine with and without the turbo kit?

doesn't TN make a bigger turbo you can put on to make more than 475whp?

If I remember correctly he was running the st kit with a UTEC/fuel return/larger injectors with tial wastegate/external dump. I think CPRacing tuned him to around 400-410whp. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry to hear about your motor...

We're in the dead of summer, and you live in FL...

How hot was it outside when you had the failure?

Sorry to hear about your motor.

I was just thinking that I haven't seen you post in a while too.

talk about speedy. It must be nice to know that even if you blow your motor we have people like 350zdcalb to speed out a new built motor.
