I'm not sure what else to check at this point.

Did you triple check the boost solenoid wiring??? If you had a leak somewhere, I am sure you would have a rough idle or other symptom(s). what does your vacuum look like at idle?

Triple check the boost solenoid wiring

friend just had the same exact problem, he actually tore a little slit in a coupling for the intercooler, you might need to pull them off and inspect them, he would only build 5 psi on his S13....

Problem solved! The cheapo GM boost solenoid was stuck open. Now I need to decide whether I replace the solenoid with the same part or get an electronic boost controller.

Does anybody know the solenoid part number?

Glad you got that fixed, but I never would have guessed it was the boost solenoid. Hard to imagine that with APS test pipes and HKS dual exhaust you still had enough back-pressure to hold you down to 2PSI! Unless your wastegate springs are really light. Ah well, have fun boosting!

Yea, I didn't think it was the solenoid either. I had no idea that it could lower my boost so much. At least I learned something from this problem. This weekend is going to be so much more fun now!
