You can hook up the user input on the Zeitronix to the stock knock sensor and log volts coming from the sensor . Several guys are doing this and it seems to work pretty well . When I was street tuning my car . At one time , between 6000 and 6500rpm I saw spikes in the volts [ over 3 ] normal volts are 2.53 , or close . I retarded the timing a little more and never seen that spike again

I thought about doing that, but do you know where i can find the voltage ranges for the knock sensor? I would guess that when you were tunning it on the lap top you just reduced ignition timming till you saw a flat voltage line on the laptop?

Like I said . Normal volts are around 2.53 . You see a flat line when datalogging . I see very small increases once in a while [ .03 in volts to 2.56..2.58 ] But any thing over that I consider knock .
