I recently setup a Procharger with UTEC and CJM S1 fuel system. The car was just brought to me for inspection after going on the "Players Run" rally across the united states. Tons of abuse later, everything is going great. I am pretty satisfied with the ATI Procharger kit - as long as you do your own fuel and tuning solution. It wouldnt hurt if they beefed up their SC bracket a little, but it suites just fine and its not going to fail anyway. I have yet to attempt to go for bit power with a SC, so I cannot comment on how I would feel about the setup if I had to turn up the boost and push it harder - but ill post if the owner of the car goes for it

I would take a JWT or AAM oil pan spacer over the APS/PE or similiar oil pans (i dont like the design of it at all), neither of them are needed for anything IMHO other then extra capacity. The spacers will go a great job of keeping the oil by the the oil pump pickup by deepening the sump and extending the oil pickup down - where the side kickout pans have way too much place for the oil to get away from the oil pickup, and those baffles are BS they will not help anything as the oil pump will suck up whatever oil they would "contain" instantly and they will only impede the oils ability to get back where it needs to be IMHO. A wide "floor plan" for an oil pan is a terrible idea, you wouldnt believe how crazy we have to get with trap door baffles and swinging oil pick-ups in order to get the large, wide, long Viper oil pan to keep the pump from starving in road racing applications. I would rather run a stock oil pan setup then a widened one.

I will be putting in a spacer this year just since I plan on doing some very high speed runs and could use the extra capacity. The AAM and JWT spacers IMHO are an awesome & cost effective solution to increasing the oil capacity, and improving on the oil sump and pickup for high g's. Not to mention they dont make a mess of oil dripping all over the place when you take off your filter like those wide pans.

So with the Vortech, a just a spacer is fine then, hmph okay. I really am not going to go race the car much, if at all in the future. I like AAM because its pre-tapped. I am loving this thread also. I cant wait to get my hands on my Vortech next week!

the car made about 360rwhp at 6.5-7psi boost. i kept it really conservative since i knew he was going on that long rally with stops at race tracks.
