Those of you with built heads (ex: ferrea oversized valves, ferrea valvetrain, aftermarket cams)... please post how high you rev these motors...how long have you been driving it with this redline?
and the big question: who can SHOW via a dyno sheet, that their motor continues to make power after 6600rpm??? We hear a lot about guys running their motors to 7100rmp or 7500...even 8000!!! but are you guys making power, or does it fall flat on its face? please share

Going past the stock rev limit is not the issue...making power PAST 6600rpm, that's the hot topic
![EEK!](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif)
on all of our dyno sheets, the power starts to drop at this point... Sam (GT Motorsports) and I have been talking about this lately, and he brought up a good point... he has NEVER seen anybody produce a dyno graph that shows power continuing to build past 6600rpm, his theory is the cam timing and airflow restrictions...somebody prove this theory wrong!!! I am curious

His car pulled to 8000rpm, but did the power dip after 6600rpm? that is my question...only a dyno graph will show for sure..

I'm getting another dyno as soon as the weather cools off...then we will all know the truth...for now here is my "crack *****" dyno......The first row and second row numbers are mine..the numbers after 7500rpms are so high because of the dyno slipping and reading high and the top 2 graph lines are mine they look like they make power all the way up which is what I was told....So I dunno about how far off this dyno is and I want to get a new one myself..once I get a new dyno everyone will see it good or bad....

The cars is good. I hardly drive it any more. I went 3 weeks with out driving it last month and when I drove it last week for the first time I ended up driving it everyday that week.

What's up with your car? Another serious offers? Good luck with the sale and with the up coming wedding/new home purchase. The mods will come second after the wifey moves in.

I don't questions bigbri numbers. He running 23psi so what's so hard to believe about his power? What I want to see just like Todd is if bigbri is making power all the way to 8K or does it drop or stop making power at a certain rpm before 8K. Just cause you can rev to a certain RPM doesn't necessary mean it will make power till then. I can rev to 7400 RPMS, but the power is flat after 6200 RPMS.
