I am sure some folks have had issues, but then again there are those who havn't and I am sure that is the case with every F/I option available. I decided on the APS ST because I felt is was a more complete kit than the others and roughly the same price. As far as the CAT...well.....I deal with that when my inspection is up in 4 years......

For how long did you twist Julian's arm until he agreed to install an APS ST?

It sucks that none of the FI kits matched ever matched what I was expecting from them. I am not broke or cheap, but there is a limited amount of $$ I am willing to spend on a Z in aftermarket mods, plain and simple. Also you cannot ever get it staright from a tuner/installer:
Each tuner claims that the best kit is the one he is getting the most comission from its manufacturer. The common thing, each time you let them have an input, they will effectively convince you that all of the lower cost FI solutions suck and they will explain to you that you need like another 15-20G worth of **** to do it right.
I don't claim to know a lot about cars, but one thing I do know, if you insist too hard to the tuner as to what you want, he will do exactly that, and if **** breaks, you'll get the "I told you so, now pay me to fix your mistakes" attitude. Just like pissing off your server in a restoraunt. And I do not feel that I possess enough car knowledge to be able to singlehandedly put together an FI setup for myself without professional help. There are too many little things to consider and it is impossible to cover the whole scope of things without having massive experience in the field.
I've had enough of this idiocy. Next week I am taking classes with a manual transmission car, hopefully I will not dislike it as much as I did 3 years ago. This will expand greatly my choice of a sportscar.
This fall I am going to test drive the following: Lotus Elise/Exige, Porsche Cayman, BMW M3.
Once I chose one and get it I am staying the **** away from internet forums and aftermarket products.

I personally installed an APS single on blakes car and would not even consider another setup. He has beat on his car like no other I know of. I truelly expected it to blow the first week. It has not and continues to run.
And a cat on a turbo setup? You mix your oil and water together?
