Default Need Help! Only boosting to 2 psi

went to the track tonight and during my last run I had no power. I took it on the freeway afterwards and saw that I'm only boosting up to 2 psi.
I had the same problem a few months back and a coupler from a pipe had come loose.
I checked (from what is visible from the outside) and all pipes seem to be tightly connected.
I'm fairly certain that it's a loose coupler that I can't see right now but could it be anything else?
car drives great otherwise.

remove all the couplers check for rips or tears... not noticeable when still but will spread wide open under boost!

that plagued my mr2 until i replaced all of the connectors!

with the heat here lately I wouldn't be surprised if that would be the case

Is there a way to test for this without having to take everything apart?

yes soapy water, and looking for bubbles! not sure how easy itll be with the z but thats how i figured it out!

or you could make a boost leak tester!
pvc, air tool end, seal it all up and presurize the system!

Check your boost solenoid. It could be stuck open.

Is the boost solenoid mounted next to the BOV? (I have the APS TT)

ok, quick update:

when I drove home from work I took my little canyon and noticed that everytime I make a sharp right turn the car makes a loud rubbing noise, it sounds like something is hitting the fan. When I straighten the car out it's fine again.
WHen I got home I checked for anything loose or close to the fans that might rub but nothing.
I then moved the wheel as if I'm making a sharp right turn but still nothing visibly rubbing.

Here's the interesting thing: I noticed oil under the right front bumper. I removed the inner fender lining and there is a small pool of oil right underneath the windshield reservoir. The only coupling that I can not see is the tube going into the intercooler, I'm kinda hoping that this is the loose one and the oil is build up since I don't have a catch can...
does that make sense?
Anyone know where oil could come from in that area?
I checked and there is nothing coming from the engine or oil pan so I don't think it's the engine.
I'm bringing the car to Brainstorm tomorrow. I hope they can fix this and it's nothing bad.

any thoughts?

I was right the coupler on the passenger side going into the intercooler came off. Brainstorm put a longer coupler on and all is fixed. YEAH!

I seriously need an oil catch can though
