Default aps ST with JIC (owners please chime in)

well unfortunately aps does not make the ST exhaust for my car (g35c) yes i could modify it to fit but id rather not... now how loud is the JIC on the aps ST w/out resonator? I currently have the injen catback i dont know if you guys have heard it but that is loud, how much louder would it be compared to the injen?

Do you have the APS ST now?

If not, in most cases a turbo will quiet down your exhaust.

i had the injen ses dual exhaust on my car with test pipes back when it was NA, and it was VERY loud and droney. my aps with the JIC is not very loud really. id say about a third to half as loud as the injen was. the turbo does act like a muffler, one thing tho, without the resonator, my car backfires ALL the time, because its running real rich, almost every shift when i get on it backfires, i like it but it sounds like a shotgun blast right in my ear, oh yeah plus i blow flames out all the time.

I don't get the backfires, but it's not ricey loud, it's racey loud, you know. I'm just looking for something a little more mellow. That's why i want the aps exhaust. i like to travel with me and my girl, and with the jic and the windows up, you have to speak very loud to hear each other.

Why not just put your stock exhaust back on. I know it is not the best performance but if you have the APS ST you will have plenty of power. If feel bad for you guys that have to hide all your mods from the cops.

Sweet~ Jesu$~ you got yourself a flame thrower!!!!!!!!!! It scares the $hit out of people you race~
Way to go!!! I'm still using the stock APS BOV with recirculation, and I do get occasional backfire, but it's not that loud...
