It must be quite a few years old if there is no CARB plate on it.

Or just stamp the CARB # on the ID plate.

I think it's only been CARB approved for about 1-year.

ya it was approve in early 05. I think mine is 04 vortech. I thought once its carb legal all the older kits were consider legal too.

The only positive thing from this was that I was able to up bump my idle to 900 on my 05 g35. So I guess only the 04.5 models were not able to with the consult II.

My last question is, bc I want to later send my ecu to TS to get the rev limit bump, will it messed up my 900rpm idle and return it back to stock?

had an infiniti dealer in texas install my vortech. ran great throughout the 1 year warranty period they offered. then i melted two plugs and cracked at least one piston and the stealership said they wouldnt do anything. Biggest mistake i've made so far. Drive somewhere and have someone who's done ten of them do it.

sorry for your lost. I actually took it to my original installer/tuner bc the dealer wouldnt touch it without CARB sticker, lol. I think that was for the best. The install is coming along, the blower and injectors are on and hopefully by sat ill have my babie back. Hoping to get +380hp with 3.12 pulley.
