pressure plate: 20 ft lbs is too much...go 14-16, you'll be fine

flywheel: 62-68 ft lbs

Carbon discs and center plates can go in any direction. The hub with the piano wire must be placed with the wire closest to the flywheel.

Placement is as follows....

Flywheel/carbon disc/hub/center plate/carbon disc/pressure plate/cover.

DO NOT SHAKE THE TRANS TO GET THE INPUT SHAFT INTO THE MOTOR!!! You will shatter the carbon clutch discs. Be very careful.

im posting from brandons computer at the shop, this is charles.

hopefully i will have it running soon. The engine and trans is sitting on the floor waiting to go in. I have been making some unique changes to the oiling system and I am finishing those up before it goes in. Also, the turbos are supposedly in transit on the way to me right now, but the tracking number I was given does not work. If the turbos show up before the weekend, I will possibly be able to fire it up this weekend. I ended up not upgrading them, they were just rebuilt.

hopefully all is well, and it doesnt blow up within moments of starting it. i would like to drive it at least a little bit this year. the line locks will be here tomorrow, so I guess even if the turbos dont show up, i still have some stuff to play with over the weekend.

anyhow, back to business... brandon is currently whipping up some fuel rails while we continue on with the twin fuel pump setup. I cant wait to show you guys this trick assembly some day - its so nice it puts anything else to shame. We actually made it for the Dodge Viper first. But only a few small changes (overall diameter & lid dimensions) to accomodate the 350z/G35 and all the other cars we are going to be making versions of it for, including the RX7 to match the fuel system we just finished for that car.

As for the intake manifold, once my car runs we can continue the testing. But I am not sure if we will share that one with anyone else or not I would like to have a couple unique parts on my car, ya know

BTW, if anyone every needs ATS instruction manuals, for both carbon clutches and their LSD's, I always have extra copies here in the shop.

Put some stickers on the car if you want something unique.... put the manifold into production. Spread some love!
