It looks like you put the filter coming off the nipple on the drivers side valve cover. What did you do with the PCV valve?

Yesterday one of the guys at the shop was showing me a similar product. I do not know who it is made by but they say they are very good if your PCV leaks. He told me that on an Subaru it resulted in so much vac that it actually caused a whistle where air was sucked through gaskets.
They are fairly expensive, over a hundred bucks (I don't recall the exact amount).

 

EP3, how is this helping you? I have a Procharger as well, that's why I'm wondering.

 

I wouldn't say that it is helping him as much as it is getting rid off some of the hose clutter and emissions BS.

 

^^^ yup .. i did this while i installed the kit so never knew it any other way it breathes real nice idlle is good.. all my boost and vacume seem to be good

 

Ran my PVC and that hose from the drivers side to a Jaz oil can with a filter on top. Works. <$50

 

Does anyone know what that hose coming off the driver side valve cover is for?

 

its just a crankcase vent. it was intended to be vacuumed by the intake, which is why it doesnt need a valve like the one that goes into the intake manifold.

 

Haven't found one APS dealer with this.
