Walbro pump install on G sedan! Perfect 52 psi!!!
You don't have to do number 3).
I am the one who orginally convinced Phunk way back when to make a custom kit for the sedan guys, as I was not content with PE's setup.
I am currently runnign a walbro 255 with phunk's bypass ...i ahve no issues with using up the entire 20 gallons of fuel (I ran a test to confirm this). My baselin fuel pressure is set at 4.3bar (65psi) and it rises and FALLS in 1:1 fashion with boost no problem (i.e. i have a perfect 56-57psi at -9.0 psi idle vacuum). This was tested to 490 whp at 14.5 psi of boost, where i have 79 psi fuel pressure.
I don not think we even have a yellow part.

I just finished and you are right, no yellow piece. Actually a very easy install. I did grind down the four tabs on the bottom and the two round plastic excursions on the top. I also cut a notch in the bottom of the pump assembly so the plastic stand off the secures the filter bag would fit through. All this and I still could not use the rubber isolator on the bottom of the pump because it was so tight in the housing. Is this normal?
I don't yet have a FP gauge. The car started right up and the exhaust did not smell extra rich. Seems to be okay.
Im shooting for 425whp using 650cc injectors and hope to avoid the extra expense of a return system unless I realy need to. I'll get the CJM Sedan kit for sure then.
Edit. I just read you first post about dont cut off the two round parts. What I did was just cut a few mm of the plastic off, not down to the metal parts, just enough so the top of the pump isnt resting on the housing.
Thanks!

1) No need to drill the factory regulator?
2) Cut notches in the housing rather than clip off the tabs on the pump?
3) Enlarge the pin hole oriface on the yellow part on the outside of the surge can to .070
Is this the right things to do for a Walbro install on a G Sedan?

and you still need to make room on the bottom of the pump housing for the walbro. You don't need to clip off the tabs on the walbro, but you will need to make a notch on the bottom of the housingso it fits in better....so, notch the upper part of the housing and notch the lower part of the housing. see pics............
