Default Who makes the T28 turbo?

Is it garret? Also, how much would a T28 flow (in terms of power) on an SR20 motor? Thanks guys.

T28 is Garrett. On an SR20 it's probably good to approx 300HP.

300HP? Is that it? I was hoping it could make around 330-350 at the wheels to be honest. That's a bit dissapointing.

Actually your looking at more like 280 max on that turbo, its not a big turbo just ball bearing, and slightly bigger than the t25. If you want a decent turbo that will make over 300hp and bolt on to factory manifold get a gt25 turbo from garret.

lol! not even close. MAYBE with the GT28RS, but not a plain T28.

www.sr20forum.com has ALL the info you need

I don't recommend the GT25, mainly because it's a t2 turbine with a massively overkill large t3 compressor. It's a horribly matched hybrid with more lag than turbos that generate similar power, such as the 3071R or even 2871R.

I had a 91 SE-R with an avenir t25, running 9psi, and I ran in the 13s. Stock cams and everything, street tires, in july at Bradenton.

Like I said, go to sr20forum.com and you'll be good

a T28 of a GTiR (.82 A/R) is rated at around 300 crank HP.
GT25 290 hp
GT28 320 hp
GT28RS 350 hp
GT2871R 400 hp
GT2876R 420 hp

I run a GT2871R on my civic.

another thing about the GTiR t28 is you don't really want to run more than 15psi, past that point you're killing the turbo and just pushing out hotter air.
