I have 2005 AT5, and I want to go FI, Since I know little in this area, so I asked one local turning shop for advice, here is the rough list he gave to me:
1. HKS 3037 turbocharger kit, which includes manifold, wastegate, GT3037 turbo, dump pipe, intercooler kit, oil cooler kit and all associated fittings. (AUD$11,500 inc GST)
2. larger injectors HKS 480cc X 6 (AUD$1,380),
3. Nissan Stagea V35 (VQ30DET) Fuel Pump (AUD$580)
4. engine management system (not given).
5. Haltech interceptor unit (AUD$1050).
What do u guys think? do I still need VB and engine block upgrade?
BTW, i am in Australia.

 

11k AUD for just the turbo setup and not the engine management or injectors?

Unless the Aussie dollar is only half the value of the US dollar, you're getting SCREWED!

Go with the APS ST....they are there in Australia, you know....

I would highly recommend getting the VB upgrade. I had mine done through Forged Performance. Shifts are much quicker and firmer. Their service is excellent and turnaround time was pretty quick.
