Im going to get the DLI Gurgen, we all know what happens when I try to gap my spark plugs ( BANG BANG!) hahaha anyways I think the issue I am having is due to the plugs being bad ( around 20k miles and 2 yrs on them)
SO im going to get the HKS DLI II and some Plugs and install them at the same time,
Looks like that EVC 5 is going to have to wait a little longer

Iridiums require less energy to fire, when compared to a copper plug. So at the limit, they will provide better performance for high powered applications. Iridiums also last at least 2-3 times as long as coppers, and nearly twice as long as platinums. These intervals are based on OEM usage. For high powered FI, I still tend to change my plugs about every 10,000 -15,000 miles, since plugs are relatively inexpensive.
In regards to the HKS DLI, it is a worthwhile unit for sure. Trying to determine measurable results is very difficult, but they have been proven to add some smoothness to the dyno charts, and a handful of whp in NA applications. Gapping hasnt been an issue for us. Even at 600whp, we run stock gaps of .040-.044, and just drop the NGK iridiums right in. Alberto might have experienced some misfiring due to an unrelated issue, or maybe a tuning problem.
Alberto, we'll be tuning a Darton sleeved block with Greddy kit and DLI in the next couple of days. I'll be able to let you know if I see any significant improvements, vs. the other Greddy kits we've done at 15-17psi.
