that's very good to know since I will have to depend on the cruise control out here in cali...this car just wants to go fast

The only thing I really don't like as of now is the ATS Clutch when going slow. It's almost impossible to drive 5 mph into the parking lot for example wihout bogging, I have to basically push the clutch in and roll. Same goes for reverse.
I'd be interested to know how other people feel about that and how they managed to drive comfortably in slow speeds or in heavy traffic up a hill.

400 miles down 600 to go...I went all the way up to channel islands and back nice drive by the ocean. around Oxnard is a very straight open strech of freeway and there were no cars around so I went for it in 5th. I can't believe how fast I got to 135mph then I let off, I got scared at 110mph my tires started slipping a bit and the racelogic smoothly set in and got them to hook again. The car felt amazing and it went straight as an arrow, amazing

I did a bit more slow driving as well and I'm getting a bit better with the ATS

you'll get used to it...it is a bit of a different feel then the stock clutch, or a non carbon for that matter...there is a way to ease it into gear without slippin gi tlike crazy, it will take some time, but i have the triple disc and i drive it like a stock Z now...

My car should be ready anyday now.
I went with a built shortblock with some titanium valve springs built by Sam @ GTM.
*Sits here and waits*
I'll be turning up the boost and adding bigger injectors after I break it in. I just want 500 to the wheels and Sam said he can do it safely.
Can't wait to retune it for higher boost.

Ah....no more track time for me sorry. .
I'd love to go but there's no way I can afford to break anything else on this car. It's just too damn expensive unfortunately.
I have other things going on too that I must pay for as well.
I'd deff. be down to go watch you guys run though for sure.
It's been like 4 months since I've driven my car, I'd hate to see it down again, lol.
Hit me up for sure if u guys are going down there again.
Pm me and I'll give you my number.

haha. To be honest, I'd rather cruise around and hit up people if they try to race me. Although going to the track is still fun I just can't afford to be taking it there anymore. I'll see if my friends wanna go this saturday.

lol can you afford a street racing ticket and getting your car impounded and possible jail time?

Hope that never happens to you, just dont want you to go around racing everyone in a fast car on the street and think its "Cheaper" than going to the track....

Ya i knew someone would say that. In reality I shouldn't be street racing (obviously) but stuff happens and I'm sure you guys do the same too.
I really don't race much now that I have the turbo though.
I'll tell you what, I'll show up to the track if you pay for any damages that happen, lol.
I really wanted to do the 1/4 mile but I'll hold back from possibly ruining my engine again.
