Anyone know how to diagnose VDC?

Anyone know how to diagnose VDC?
I figured I would ask here, cause most of us turbo guys have had our steering shaft off a couple times.
Is there a way to get the VDC light to flash codes and tell you what it is unhappy about?
My VDC light comes on the moment I start to roll away from a stop after just starting the engine. More than likely, somewhere along the way I messed up the calibration of the steering shaft and/or steering wheel, having had both out a couple times.
What is interesting, is that the VDC actually engages for a moment before it turns the light on. So its trying to do something.
Its clear to me that the steering position sensor is not properly calibrated right now, and when I pull away straight it thinks my steering wheel is turned, and then the VDC computer is seeing all 4 tires going the same speed so it thinks that I am slipping - since all 4 tires should not be the same speed if it thinks the car is turning.
Thats my best guess anyway.
So anyone know how to either check for VDC codes, or how to recalibrate the steering wheel position sensor? Maybe I am blind, but I cant find it in the service manual.
BTW, my car is running again Dyno numbers coming soon

FROM THE SUB MENU OF THE CONSULT II SELECT ABS ,THEN GO TO ECU INPUT AND YOU ARE GOING TO SEE YOUR CURRENT ST ANGEL SENSOR READING,IT SHOULD BE @ -2 +2 DIGRESS WHEN THE ST WHEEL IS STRAIGHT ,IF YOUR ST WHEEL IS OFF THEN YOU SHOULD PUT THE CAR ON THE ALIGNMENT MACHINE CENTER YOUR ST WHEEL WITH WATCHING YOUR ST ANGEL READING ,OR JUST REMOVE AND REPOSITION THE COUPLER .
