Default I hate my GODDAM car...need help from the experts!!!!!

I had the JWT TT kit installed and tuned at AAM with an AAM Plenum Spacer, AAM 3", ATS twin carbon with 21lb flywheel, 3.9 FD, and a few other mods. My damn car keeps STALLING!!!!!

I have tried cleaning, then replacing the MAF, tightening every hose clamp, re-setting the ECU, relearning the Idle COntrol Volume, etc......I have tried raising the idle with both the CONSULT and CIPHER (my ecu was flashed and then flashed back to stock at AAM) and both units say they cannot read the ecu.

Here's the scenario:

This started about 2 weeks after the install and was not an initial problem. WIth the A/C on the RPMs still drop past 500 butr the car will not shut off.

While Stopped:
My car idles fine, I can rev it to 2K and it will return to idling at 750. If I rev to 3K the prms drop and the eff'n car just shuts off.

While Driving:

If i keep the car in gear until it almost comes to a complete stop my car behaves fine. If I am getting off an exit ramp, let's say at 65, press the clutch and shift into 3rd for the exit, before I even have a chance to release the clutch to go around the turn the car has shut off, losing all functions such as power steering and creating an extremely unsafe situation. When this happens on the hiway I simply pop the clutch and get it started again but after spending $$$ on this eff'n stupid car I don't think this is right.

I used to work at Altered and addressed this situation with them many times and they did not even acknowledge nor try to fix my problem.

I have done my searching and find this problem to be similar to those that people with the popcharger seem to be having. Should I attempt to relocate my MAF further away from the pop-charger? What should I do?

Damn Noah-nobody up at your new place of work can fix this? Sorry to hear of the problems. IIRC-there was a TSB on crank sensors, making Z's stall, many thought their Pop-chargers were causing the issue it was a bad coincidence-maybe the case for you??

Checked my Vin...it does not fall within that range for the recall. I guess it's time to have her checked for a leak....only thing is a leak should cause my car to overboost but it is still running at .5BAR

Did you try the JWT breather/idle stabilizer mod? I have a PDF of the procedure, but it is too big to post.

Oh cool, good luck to you in that life change Noah. There is/was a big post in the Maintenance forum regarding the issue, you may want to look into it, seems like its your problem. Good luck....

edit-just saw its not your issue. Whats your vacuum at idle?

Sounds like a VAC loss. Start with the first mod, work forward, re-torque your plenum.

Sorry to hear about this problem again Noah.
I believe Noah is running a stock internal block, so his cams should be OK

Same thing was happening with my car but I have Tomei 268's. You could need to bring the idle up a little. You can drill a hole in the throttle plate, very small and gradually work your way up.

Just got back from my friend's shop...he was nice enough to fit me in today instead of tomorrow.....there is a 7" long hairline fracture between two of the bolts on the upper intake plenum. Would have never seen it if it wasn't for the GALLONS of smoke pouring out of the crack. This sucks....anyone have a a stock upper plenum they can spare???
