Default CUSTOM TURBO SETUP, opinions needed

Hey everyone I have been thinking about doing this custom twin turbo setup and could use your opinions. I would use test pipes that I would cut and welde into the adapters. And leave the stock manifolds alone. I would use twin t25's so I hopefully wouldn't get to much turbolag because of the weird setup. And i would plan on running 5 psi, with intercooler and unichip, and fully tuned. I'm not looking for huge power because I have the stock block and auto tranny "for now." All I am looking for is about 50 to 100 hp more and that would be good enoghf for me, the car already is very quick. And I could probably do this setup for under $3k which is the big plus for me. Do you guys think this setup would work decent? turbo lag? expected hp levels?

putting turbos that low = dangerous.

You'll need a fluid pump to pull the oil from the turbos to the oil pan, your intercooler piping routing will be hellish, and twin t25s will be essentially worthless.

IMO, save yourself a ton of money, headaches, and time, and buy a kit.

Yeah, all you need is that adapter piece and you should be good for at least 400whp. I'd say do it.

i wouldnt do it, APS tried that exact setup and failed.

seriously, seems like a lot of headache for minimal gains, just get the vortech, close to your gains, safe, reliable, and relatively cheap(er) than the others.

or you could just cut the stock mani shorter then weld on a turbo flange to that. then bolt on the turbo.

from the pic, your turbo's would be almost touching the ground, making drainback less than positive.
get a used kit if you want to save a buck. many have tried, but unless you have unlimited access to bends and are good at fab work, you could be left with a very high fab bill or things that don't work.
