Default Car got wrecked last night

Why me, and its my F-IN birthday today, someone shoot me, this has got to be a nightmare. Lastnight me and my neighbor were driving home from eating some chinesse food. make a long story short...i gunned my car in 1st, and threw it into second very fast....well, my rear end came out from me, and slammed into his car, from then my car did 2 360's, luckly i was able to control it and not hit a pole or anyone else. I really dont know what to do?? Do i wanna fix it? have it totaled, what do i do about my part? Lukly my neighbor, is very cool, and i drove it home. I reported it to insurance, i said i hit a slick spot in the road, and the car came out, he said the same, and that we are both OK....this is gonnahurt but here are the pictures....WHY GOD....ITS MY FUKIN BIRTHDAY....THROW ME A DAMN BONE

Minor accident brother....don't loose sleep over it. New bumper, headlight, fender, hood...and they'll repair the door....probably run the insurance company around $3500. The Nissan dealer repaired mine when the freaking sales guy hit me at the convience store.....how unlucky is that? They did an excellent job...can't tell. Anyhow, its not that bad....you're baby will be back on the road in no time.

Remember, you have alot of power now...got to respect it.

Bad choices are why you got into the collision - not really an accident from your description of the event.

Sorry to hear your choices let to someone else's car getting damaged and glad to hear you're alright.

+1. Sounds like it was all your fault. I felt bad for you til I read that you caused it.

I'm not hating. I would say this to my best friend:

YOU IDIOT!

Meh, At the end of the day it's just a car...just don't chock this one up in life's little experience book as something that happened to you. You were not a victim.

ive been driving FI for 2 years, im pretty sure i can drive, but some time shlt happends, it was a collision, but also a accident, its not like i wanted my car to hit his.

BTW i just got a brand new clutch, i wasnt expecting it to grip like that, and i noticed my rear tires are also showing wear, this might have been a reason why i lost it, either way i ****ed up....i know..bash away

i'm sure he feels bad enough, seeing how both cars were damaged. like in a previous post, chock it up as one of life's not so cool experiences and move on. no one was hurt and that's the most important thing.

Man, that sucks. It doesn't look like it would be considered totalled. On the positive side, if you have a good relationship with a body shop, now's the time to upgrade a bit, nice new aftermarket bumper, etc. (all covered under insurance).

hey boostedZ33tt--use this as an opportunity to get some new stuff for your car.

your car is definitely not totalled. I got into an accident about a month ago ( i hydroplaned and ate the guardrail headon... both airbags, FMIC laying on the side of the road, you name it...) here's the photos:

http://www.fi-z.com/bad_day

the initial damage was appraised at $10,000...there will be about $5k to $7k in supplementary costs that the body guy will end up finding on his own. The frame damage was VERY VERY VERY minimal--something that takes about 45 minutes to fix on the Unibody alignment machine.

So don't fret--your car is FAR from totalled. Ultimately, it's up to the insurance company to decide how much they will give you. Just be very nice with them. Provide all the information you can, don't be a dick, and things will work out. Remember, after it's all fixed, you'll be the only person who knows that there was every any damage.

I feel your pain, I really do. Insurance will take care of it, its not too bad, Ive had a bad thing happen in my Z as well, you will get over it. What were the roads like when you hit it? Wet? Damp? Cold? Why did you spin so bad in 2nd?
