You clearly have no idea how to drive a RWD, much less a higher hp RWD car.

If your happy that is all the matters. Obviously I cant be happy with 350whp, or 400whp, who knows when low boost (525whp) gets old, my high will then become my low, and its time for a new high! My name is Alberto, and Im addicted to boost

You clearly are a moron, listen newbie buddie, you dont know how i drive, what i have driven. Ive tracked my 350z for uMmM 2 years FI, and street raced the hell out of it for 2 years FI. All it takes is one mess up. Are you FI?? or just trolling, if your not FI, you have no clue, about the traction issues with these cars. I like to race from a DIG, from what i have learned in 2 years of driving FI, you learn the art of the "catch-up". Show me a video of a FI Z on street tires, pull anything from a DIG, not catching up, from a DIG! I wanna see the FI'd on street tires launch and get the jump, hopefully someone will prove me wrong.

^Maybe...i highly doubt it though. On street tires if your f/i punching it in 1st and even at times 2nd is almost completely useless. I ran at a track and couldnt do it. On the street i raced once out of a dig and never again! Its all about ripping it in 3rd-6th

Mike's 951 would rape almost ANY car on this board. Almost 1k lighter, plenty of power... So yeah, he knows how to drive. So what if his post-count is higher on a board re: a car he doesn't have, does that make you the better man? Didn't think so...

PS, wtf are "40 punches" - the throttle isn't a binary switch last I checked.

Blah blah blah. As posted above, the throttle is not a binary switch. If you go WOT yeah, you will have tractions issues. Learning how to pedal through it is part of the skills one needs to drive a RWD car. I've driven dmoffitt's car extensively, along with a few dozen other turbo cars. I've NEVER had an issue getting a car to hook up, in a corner or a straight line. If you know how to drive, the whp level doesnt matter. 1000hp, 600hp, 200hp, you can always break the tires lose, or get traction, if you have a clue about vehicle dynamics, tire compound, and throttle control. Which you clearly, do not. 40 PUNCHES FTW! aka "I love unsettling the chassis in my car just slamming WOT"

come on, 40 punches are fun...

BACK TO THIS TOPIC

I do have an issue with climbing EGTs (measured ~1" from the exhaust port / head), I assume trading up to a far less restrictive exhaust will benefit me with faster spool AND lower EGTs? It scares me that if I go to Watkins Glen I'll make it 3-4 laps tops before I either have to *****-foot it or burn a valve.
